At Michael S. Adsit DDS, we believe financial concerns should never stand in the way of getting the dental care you need. That’s why we work with a wide range of insurance providers and offer flexible financing options to make your treatment as affordable as possible.
Dr. Adsit is an in-network provider with several major insurance carriers including Excellus, CSEA, Emblem, Cigna, MetLife, and Guardian. Our team handles all insurance paperwork on your behalf and will submit claims directly to your insurance company as a courtesy to you. We work hard to maximize your benefits so you pay as little out of pocket as possible. Serving patients in Newark, NY and the surrounding Wayne County communities including Lyons, Sodus, Clyde, Macedon, and Palmyra. We welcome new patients and families from across the region.
Dental insurance can be confusing. Every plan is different — with varying deductibles, annual maximums, and covered services. Our team is happy to contact your insurance company before your appointment to give you a clear picture of what your plan covers and what your estimated out of pocket costs will be. We want you to feel confident and informed before you sit in the chair.
Most dental insurance plans cover preventive care such as cleanings and exams at 100%. Basic services like fillings are typically covered at 70-80%, while major services like crowns and implants may be covered at 50%. However every plan is unique, so we always recommend verifying your specific benefits before your appointment.
If you have questions about whether a specific procedure is covered under your plan, our team will be happy to submit a pre-authorization request to your insurance company on your behalf. This gives you a clear estimate of your costs before any treatment begins. We also welcome patients without insurance. Our self-pay rates are straightforward and we will always discuss costs with you upfront before beginning any treatment. No surprises — just honest, transparent care.
Insurance Policy Please be aware that your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. While we will do everything we can to maximize your benefits, any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Most insurance companies respond within four to six weeks — please contact our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that timeframe.
